2012-07-30[media] gspca: Add reset_resume callback to all sub-driversHans de Goede1-0/+1
1) The gspca-core's suspend/resume code is such that resume being called after a reset is safe / ok. 2) All devices tested sofar seem to need the reset_resume callback to work properly over a suspend 3) The USB-core won't call the reset_resume callback for devices which don't need it Thus it seems the simplest and the best to just add the callback to all sub-drivers, rather then adding the callbacks one-by-one as each driver gets tested with suspend/resume. This patch fixes possible race conditions in queue management with SMP: when a frame was completed, the irq function tried to use the next frame buffer. At this time, it was possible that the application on an other processor updated the frame pointer, making the image to point to a bad buffer. The patch contains two main changes: - the image transfer uses the queue indexes which are protected against simultaneous memory access, - the image pointer which is used for image concatenation is only set at interrupt level. Some subdrivers which used the image pointer have been updated. The patches gspca - vc032x: Add resolution 1280x1024 for sensor mi1310_soc. gspca - vc032x: Webcam 041e:405b added and mi1310_soc updated. will make the preview function not work, so I disable the 1280x1024 resolution and revert back to the origin mi1310_soc settings. And, using USB snoop tool on Windows to get the correct i2c commands to turn on/off the LED flash.
