Yeah! this checkin alters 182 files!

More importantly, gnome-applets now uses xml-i18n-tools to update and merge
translations from/to everywhere, including *.desktop files. So the
long-awaited-all-desktop-files-in-one-po feature has become available.

	Require xml-i18n-tools to build from CVS, otherwise use them.
	So finally translators will be happy -- they need to translate only one
	file!
	* */Makefile.am: automatically rebuild *.desktop files, distribute both
