2022-03-18parisc: Avoid using hardware single-step in kprobesHelge Deller1-11/+17
This patch changes the kprobe and kretprobe feature to use another break instruction instead of relying on the hardware single-step feature. That way those kprobes now work in qemu as well, because in qemu we don't emulate yet single-stepping. Signed-off-by: Helge Deller <deller@gmx.de>
2021-09-30kprobes: treewide: Make it harder to refer kretprobe_trampoline directlyMasami Hiramatsu1-2/+2
Since now there is kretprobe_trampoline_addr() for referring the address of kretprobe trampoline code, we don't need to access kretprobe_trampoline directly. Make it harder to refer by renaming it to __kretprobe_trampoline(). 2021-09-30kprobes: treewide: Remove trampoline_address from kretprobe_trampoline_handler()Masami Hiramatsu1-2/+2
The __kretprobe_trampoline_handler() callback, called from low level arch kprobes methods, has the 'trampoline_address' parameter, which is entirely superfluous as it basically just replicates: dereference_kernel_function_descriptor(kretprobe_trampoline) In fact we had bugs in arch code where it wasn't replicated correctly. So remove this superfluous parameter and use kretprobe_trampoline_addr() instead. 2019-09-06kprobes/parisc: remove arch_kprobe_on_func_entry()Jisheng Zhang1-4/+0
The common kprobes provides a weak implementation of arch_kprobe_on_func_entry(). The parisc version is the same as the common version, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Jisheng Zhang <Jisheng.Zhang@synaptics.com> Acked-by: Sven Schnelle <svens@stackframe.org> Signed-off-by: Helge Deller <deller@gmx.de>
