timer_delete[_sync]() replaces del_timer[_sync](). Convert the whole tree
over and remove the historical wrapper inlines.
Conversion was done with coccinelle plus manual fixups where necessary.

Pull objtool fixes from Ingo Molnar:
"These are objtool fixes and updates by Josh Poimboeuf, centered around
the fallout from the new CONFIG_OBJTOOL_WERROR=y feature, which,
despite its default-off nature, increased the profile/impact of
objtool warnings:
- Improve error handling and the presentation of warnings/errors
- Revert the new summary warning line that some test-bot tools
interpreted as new regressions
- Fix a number of objtool warnings in various drivers, core kernel
code and architecture code. About half of them are potential
problems related to out-of-bounds accesses or potential undefined
behavior, the other half are additional objtool annotations
- Update objtool to latest (known) compiler quirks and objtool bugs
triggered by compiler code generation
- Misc fixes"

Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie:
"Outside of drm there are some rust patches from Danilo who maintains
that area in here, and some pieces for drm header check tests.
The major things in here are a new driver supporting the touchbar
displays on M1/M2, the nova-core stub driver which is just the vehicle
for adding rust abstractions and start developing a real driver inside
of.
xe adds support for SVM with a non-driver specific SVM core
abstraction that will hopefully be useful for other drivers, along
with support for shrinking for TTM devices. I'm sure xe and AMD
support new devices, but the pipeline depth on these things is hard to
know what they end up being in the marketplace!

Pull timer cleanups from Thomas Gleixner:
"A treewide hrtimer timer cleanup
hrtimers are initialized with hrtimer_init() and a subsequent store to
the callback pointer. This turned out to be suboptimal for the
upcoming Rust integration and is obviously a silly implementation to
begin with.
This cleanup replaces the hrtimer_init(T); T->function = cb; sequence
with hrtimer_setup(T, cb);
The conversion was done with Coccinelle and a few manual fixups.
Once the conversion has completely landed in mainline, hrtimer_init()
will be removed and the hrtimer::function becomes a private member"

Commit c780d01cf1a6 ("media: vb2: vb2_core_queue_init(): sanity check lock
and wait_prepare/finish") added a sanity check to ensure that if there are
no wait_prepare/finish callbacks set by the driver, then the vb2_queue lock
must be set, since otherwise the vb2 core cannot do correct locking.
The rtl2832_sdr.c triggered this warning: it turns out that while the
driver does set this lock, it sets it too late. So move it up to before
the vb2_queue_init() call.

hdmirx_dev->num_clks = devm_clk_bulk_get_all(dev, &hdmirx_dev->clks);
if (hdmirx_dev->num_clks < 1)

The devm_clk_bulk_get_all() function returns negative error codes so the
hdmirx_dev->num_cks variable needs to be signed for the error handling to
work.

Depending on IOMMU_DMA is suspicious, since the low-level DMA ops
internals and MSI helpers is provides are not of interest to general
drivers. In practice it mostly seems to be serving as a dependency on
ARM64 here, so do that properly. The venus driver looks like it won't
actually be useful at runtime without the IOMMU API, so add that too.

In v4l2_detect_gtf(), it seems safer to cast the 32-bit image_width
variable to the 64-bit type u64 before multiplying to avoid
a possible overflow. The resulting object code even seems to
look better, at least on x86_64.

[Why]
There are several ns_to_ktime() calls that require using nanoseconds. It is
better to replace them with us_to_ktime() to make code clear, getting rid
of multiplication by 1000.
Also the timer function code may have an integer wrap-around issue. Since
both tx_custom_low_usecs and tx_custom_high_usecs can be set to up to
9999999 from the user space via cec_pin_error_inj_parse_line(), this may
cause usecs to be overflowed when adap->monitor_pin_cnt is zero and usecs
is multiplied by 1000.
[How]
Take advantage of using an appropriate helper func us_to_ktime() instead of
ns_to_ktime() to improve readability and to make the code clearer. And this
also mitigates possible integer wrap-arounds when usecs value is too large
and it is multiplied by 1000.

Add initial support for the Synopsys DesignWare HDMI RX
Controller Driver used by Rockchip RK3588. The driver
supports:
- HDMI 1.4b and 2.0 modes (HDMI 4k@60Hz)
- RGB888, YUV422, YUV444 and YCC420 pixel formats
- CEC
- EDID configuration
The hardware also has Audio and HDCP capabilities, but these are
not yet supported by the driver.

While the CEC adapter is configuring, it is not possible to transmit a
CEC message with the CEC_MSG_FL_RAW flag set as this is blocked at the
ioctl level. Check if this flag is set, and if so, allow the message to
be transmitted. This is useful for debugging if the display has no
physical address (typically because the HPD is pulled low while in
Standby).
