optional properties that apply to "generic" devices (ie, devices that
NetworkManager does not specifically recognize).</p>
<p>There are currently no properties on this object; it exists only to be
the "connection type" setting on <a href="NMConnection.html"><span class="type">NMConnections</span></a> for generic devices.</p>
