+One drawback of using OpenGL instead of XAA/KAA is the lack of Y![[CrCb|CrCb]] based surface formats which are typically used for video.

+This talk will show how the programmable fragment pipeline of modern graphics cards can be used for color space conversion and scaling, and how this is being integrated into glitz and the new XVideo extension of Xglx.
