2017-03-02sched/headers: Prepare to move signal wakeup & sigpending methods from ↵Ingo Molnar1-1/+1
<linux/sched.h> into <linux/sched/signal.h> Fix up affected files that include this signal functionality via sched.h. 2017-02-27lib/vsprintf.c: remove %Z supportAlexey Dobriyan1-1/+1
Now that %z is standartised in C99 there is no reason to support %Z. Unlike %L it doesn't even make format strings smaller. Use BUILD_BUG_ON in a couple ATM drivers. In case anyone didn't notice lib/vsprintf.o is about half of SLUB which is in my opinion is quite an achievement. Hopefully this patch inspires someone else to trim vsprintf.c more. 2016-12-24Replace <asm/uaccess.h> with <linux/uaccess.h> globallyLinus Torvalds1-1/+1
This was entirely automated, using the script by Al: PATT='^[[:blank:]]*#[[:blank:]]*include[[:blank:]]*<asm/uaccess.h>' sed -i -e "s!$PATT!#include <linux/uaccess.h>!" \ $(git grep -l "$PATT"|grep -v ^include/linux/uaccess.h) to do the replacement at the end of the merge window. 2008-02-08parport: fix ieee1284_epp_read_addrStephan Boettcher1-1/+1
We bought cheap notebooks to control our custom data acquisition system, which requires EPP mode (read/write, data/addr). The bios does not offer EPP mode, and indeed hardware EPP mode appears not to work, although the parport driver tries to use it. EPPSWE mode does work for data r/w and addr write, but addr read requires this patch. 2006-01-06[PATCH] parport: phase fixesMarko Kohtala1-33/+29
Did not move the parport interface properly into IEEE1284_PH_REV_IDLE phase at end of data due to comparing bytes with nibbles. Internal phase IEEE1284_PH_HBUSY_DNA became unused, so remove it. 2005-09-10[PATCH] parport: fix-up schedule_timeout() usageNishanth Aravamudan1-6/+4
Use schedule_timeout_interruptible() instead of set_current_state()/schedule_timeout() to reduce kernel size. Also use human-time to jiffies units conversion functions rather than direct HZ division to avoid rounding issues. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
