2013-10-10target-m68k: Rename helpers.h to helper.hRichard Henderson1-1/+1
This brings the m68k target in line with all other targets. Reviewed-by: Stefan Weil <sw@weilnetz.de> Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>
2013-03-12cpu: Replace do_interrupt() by CPUClass::do_interrupt methodAndreas Färber1-2/+8
This removes a global per-target function and thus takes us one step closer to compiling multiple targets into one executable. It will also allow to override the interrupt handling for certain CPU families. Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de>
2013-03-12cpu: Move halted and interrupt_request fields to CPUStateAndreas Färber1-1/+3
Both fields are used in VMState, thus need to be moved together. Explicitly zero them on reset since they were located before breakpoints. Pass PowerPCCPU to kvmppc_handle_halt(). Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de>
2012-12-19exec: move include files to include/exec/Paolo Bonzini1-5/+5
Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2012-12-16exec: refactor cpu_restore_stateBlue Swirl1-7/+1
Refactor common code around calls to cpu_restore_state(). tb_find_pc() has now no external users, make it static. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2012-09-15Remove unused CONFIG_TCG_PASS_AREG0 and dead codeBlue Swirl1-3/+0
Now that CONFIG_TCG_PASS_AREG0 is enabled for all targets, remove dead code and support for !CONFIG_TCG_PASS_AREG0 case. Remove dyngen-exec.h and all references to it. Although included by hw/spapr_hcall.c, it does not seem to use it. Remove unused HELPER_CFLAGS. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>
2012-09-15target-m68k: switch to AREG0 free modeBlue Swirl1-41/+27
Add an explicit CPUState parameter instead of relying on AREG0 and switch to AREG0 free mode. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2012-04-14Use uintptr_t for various op related functionsBlue Swirl1-5/+3
Use uintptr_t instead of void * or unsigned long in several op related functions, env->mem_io_pc and GETPC() macro. Reviewed-by: Stefan Weil <sw@weilnetz.de> Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2012-03-14target-m68k: Don't overuse CPUStateAndreas Färber1-10/+10
Scripted conversion: sed -i "s/CPUState/CPUM68KState/g" target-m68k/*.[hc] sed -i "s/#define CPUM68KState/#define CPUState/" target-m68k/cpu.h Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de> Acked-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>
2011-10-01softmmu_header: pass CPUState to tlb_fillBlue Swirl1-4/+3
Pass CPUState pointer to tlb_fill() instead of architecture local cpu_single_env hacks. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2011-08-07Remove unused is_softmmu parameter from cpu_handle_mmu_faultBlue Swirl1-1/+1
Parameter is_softmmu (and its evil mutant twin brother is_softmuu) is not used in cpu_*_handle_mmu_fault() functions, remove them and adjust callers. Acked-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net> Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2011-07-30exec.h cleanupBlue Swirl1-1/+4
Move softmmu_exec.h include directives from target-*/exec.h to target-*/op_helper.c. Move also various other stuff only used in op_helper.c there. Define global env in dyngen-exec.h. For i386, move wrappers for segment and FPU helpers from user-exec.c to op_helper.c. Implement raise_exception_err_env() to handle dynamic CPUState. Move the function declarations to cpu.h since they can be used outside of op_helper.c context. LM32, s390x, UniCore32: remove unused cpu_halted(), regs_to_env() and env_to_regs(). ARM: make raise_exception() static. Convert #include "exec.h" to #include "cpu.h" #include "dyngen-exec.h" and remove now unused target-*/exec.h. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2011-06-26m68k: use caller supplied CPUState for interrupt related stuffBlue Swirl1-3/+26
Pass CPUState to do_interrupt(). This is needed by later patches. It would be cleaner to move the function to helper.c, but there are a few dependencies between do_interrupt() and other functions. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2011-06-26cpu_loop_exit: avoid using AREG0Blue Swirl1-3/+3
Make cpu_loop_exit() take a parameter for CPUState instead of relying on global env. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2011-04-20Remove unused function parameter from cpu_restore_stateStefan Weil1-1/+1
The previous patch removed the need for parameter puc. Is is now unused, so remove it. Cc: Aurelien Jarno <aurelien@aurel32.net> Reviewed-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Stefan Weil <weil@mail.berlios.de>

2009-01-04Update FSF address in GPL/LGPL boilerplateaurel321-1/+1

2007-10-14Replace is_user variable with mmu_idx in softmmu core,j_mayer1-2/+2
allowing support of more than 2 mmu access modes. Add backward compatibility is_user variable in targets code when needed. Implement per target cpu_mmu_index function, avoiding duplicated code and #ifdef TARGET_xxx in softmmu core functions. Implement per target mmu modes definitions. As an example, add PowerPC hypervisor mode definition and Alpha executive and kernel modes definitions. Optimize PowerPC case, precomputing mmu_idx when MSR register changes and using the same definition in code translation code. git-svn-id: svn://svn.savannah.nongnu.org/qemu/trunk@3384 c046a42c-6fe2-441c-8c8c-71466251a162
