From 1da177e4c3f41524e886b7f1b8a0c1fc7321cac2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Linus Torvalds Date: Sat, 16 Apr 2005 15:20:36 -0700 Subject: Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! --- arch/mips/oprofile/Kconfig | 23 ++++++ arch/mips/oprofile/Makefile | 15 ++++ arch/mips/oprofile/common.c | 106 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ arch/mips/oprofile/op_impl.h | 37 ++++++++++ arch/mips/oprofile/op_model_rm9000.c | 137 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 5 files changed, 318 insertions(+) create mode 100644 arch/mips/oprofile/Kconfig create mode 100644 arch/mips/oprofile/Makefile create mode 100644 arch/mips/oprofile/common.c create mode 100644 arch/mips/oprofile/op_impl.h create mode 100644 arch/mips/oprofile/op_model_rm9000.c (limited to 'arch/mips/oprofile') diff --git a/arch/mips/oprofile/Kconfig b/arch/mips/oprofile/Kconfig new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..19d37730b664 --- /dev/null +++ b/arch/mips/oprofile/Kconfig @@ -0,0 +1,23 @@ + +menu "Profiling support" + depends on EXPERIMENTAL + +config PROFILING + bool "Profiling support (EXPERIMENTAL)" + help + Say Y here to enable the extended profiling support mechanisms used + by profilers such as OProfile. + + +config OPROFILE + tristate "OProfile system profiling (EXPERIMENTAL)" + depends on PROFILING + help + OProfile is a profiling system capable of profiling the + whole system, include the kernel, kernel modules, libraries, + and applications. + + If unsure, say N. + +endmenu + diff --git a/arch/mips/oprofile/Makefile b/arch/mips/oprofile/Makefile new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..354261d37d62 --- /dev/null +++ b/arch/mips/oprofile/Makefile @@ -0,0 +1,15 @@ +EXTRA_CFLAGS := -Werror + +obj-$(CONFIG_OPROFILE) += oprofile.o + +DRIVER_OBJS = $(addprefix ../../../drivers/oprofile/, \ + oprof.o cpu_buffer.o buffer_sync.o \ + event_buffer.o oprofile_files.o \ + oprofilefs.o oprofile_stats.o \ + timer_int.o ) + +oprofile-y := $(DRIVER_OBJS) common.o + +oprofile-$(CONFIG_CPU_MIPS32) += op_model_mipsxx.o +oprofile-$(CONFIG_CPU_MIPS64) += op_model_mipsxx.o +oprofile-$(CONFIG_CPU_RM9000) += op_model_rm9000.o diff --git a/arch/mips/oprofile/common.c b/arch/mips/oprofile/common.c new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..ab65ce3d471a --- /dev/null +++ b/arch/mips/oprofile/common.c @@ -0,0 +1,106 @@ +/* + * This file is subject to the terms and conditions of the GNU General Public + * License.
