2018-01-28PCI: Add SPDX GPL-2.0+ to replace GPL v2 or later boilerplateBjorn Helgaas1-15/+1
Add SPDX GPL-2.0+ to all PCI files that specified the GPL and allowed either GPL version 2 or any later version. Remove the boilerplate GPL version 2 or later language, relying on the assertion in b24413180f56 ("License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0 license identifier to files with no license") that the SPDX identifier may be used instead of the full boilerplate text. Use to_pci_dev() instead of open-coding it. Signed-off-by: Geliang Tang <geliangtang@163.com> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2016-01-08PCI: Fix all whitespace issuesBogicevic Sasa1-5/+5
Fix all whitespace issues (missing or needed whitespace) in all files in drivers/pci. Code is compiled with allyesconfig before and after code changes and objects are recorded and checked with objdiff and they are not changed after this commit. 2014-06-10PCI: Whitespace cleanupRyan Desfosses1-1/+1
Fix various whitespace errors. No functional change. [bhelgaas: fix other similar problems] Signed-off-by: Ryan Desfosses <ryan@desfo.org> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2013-04-17PCI: Remove __must_check from definitionsBjorn Helgaas1-1/+1
The __must_check (gcc "warn_unused_result") attribute only makes sense when compiling the *caller* of the function, so the attribute should appear on the declaration in the header file, not on the definition. The declarations of these functions are already annotated with __must_check. Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2012-06-13PCI: replace struct pci_bus secondary/subordinate with busn_resYinghai Lu1-3/+3
Replace the struct pci_bus secondary/subordinate members with the struct resource busn_res. Later we'll build a resource tree of these bus numbers. [bhelgaas: changelog] Signed-off-by: Yinghai Lu <yinghai@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2011-06-10treewide: Convert uses of struct resource to resource_size(ptr)Joe Perches1-12/+9
Several fixes as well where the +1 was missing. Done via coccinelle scripts like: @@ struct resource *ptr; @@ - ptr->end - ptr->start + 1 + resource_size(ptr) and some grep and typing. Mostly uncompiled, no cross-compilers. Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.cz>
2010-02-23PCI: add pci_bus_for_each_resource(), remove direct bus->resource[] refsBjorn Helgaas1-6/+3
No functional change; this converts loops that iterate from 0 to PCI_BUS_NUM_RESOURCES through pci_bus resource[] table to use the pci_bus_for_each_resource() iterator instead. This doesn't change the way resources are stored; it merely removes dependencies on the fact that they're in a table. 2005-10-28[PATCH] shpchp: fix oops at driver unloadrajesh.shah@intel.com1-0/+5
At unload time, the shpchp driver does not remove sysfs files it had created in the driver's probe entry point. This patch fixes this problem. Signed-off-by: Rajesh Shah <rajesh.shah@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2005-10-28[PATCH] shpchp: miscellaneous cleanupsrajesh.shah@intel.com1-3/+0

2005-10-28[PATCH] shpchp: remove redundant display of PCI device resourcesrajesh.shah@intel.com1-68/+0
Info about resources assigned to PCI devices is already available through sysfs and pci utilities. There's no need for shpchp to create another sysfs file to display the same information. Signed-off-by: Rajesh Shah <rajesh.shah@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2005-10-28[PATCH] shpchp: use the PCI core for hotplug resource managementrajesh.shah@intel.com1-51/+70
This patch converts the standard hotplug controller driver to use the PCI core for resource management. This eliminates a whole lot of duplicated code, and integrates shpchp in the system's normal PCI handling code. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
