2014-11-17mwifiex: add auto TDLS supportAvinash Patil1-0/+3
This patch adds auto TDLS support to mwifiex. Auto TDLS functionality works as follows: 1. Whenever userspace application has triggered TDLS connection with any peer, driver would store this peer mac address details in its database. 2. After this driver whenever driver receives packet on direct link, it would store rssi and timestamp in peer information. 3. Whenever a packet is to be transmitted to non-AP peer in station mode, driver would check if TDLS link can be established by looking at peer RSSI information. Driver would initiate TDLS setup in such cases. 4. Periodic timer is used for updating peer information. 5. Auto TDLS peer list & timer are cleared during disconnection or driver unload. 2014-05-22mwifiex: update seq number correctly for packets from TDLS peerAvinash Patil1-2/+14
This patch adds handling of updating rx sequence number for packets received from TDLS peer. Current implementation of mwifiex_queueing_ra_based assumes station would always receive packets from AP which is not true in case of TDLS. Fix this by adding this case. 2014-03-14mwifiex: add AMSDU inside AMPDU supportAmitkumar Karwar1-20/+1
Currently AMPDU aggregation is preferred over AMSDU. AMSDU aggregation is performed only if AMPDU streams in firmware are full. This patch adds simultaneous AMSDU and AMPDU aggregation support. This mechanism helps to improve throughput. AMSDU is enabled only for 8897 chipsets which supports 4K transmit buffer. User can disable AMSDU using 'disable_tx_amsdu' module parameter. 2013-12-09mwifiex: fix an issue with Appletalk devicesAmitkumar Karwar1-2/+6
SNAP/LLC header in the AARP packet is being stripped off while preparing an EthernetII header. Annex M, Table M.3 in 802.11 spec says that some header (ex. AppleTalk AARP(2)) should pass through untouched. This patch modifies the check to exclude/include EthernetII header translation for special cases. Current implementation, for retrieving priv from adapter, uses bss_index. In multi interface environment supporting different types, bss_index may not be unique. Use bss_type along with bss_num to retrieve the priv. bss_index is removed with this change.
