git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC DT updates from Olof Johansson: "Most of this branch consists of updates, additions and general churn of the device tree source files in the kernel (arch/arm/boot/dts). Besides that, there are a few things to point out: - Lots of platform conversion on OMAP2+, with removal of old board files for various platforms. - Final conversion of a bunch of ux500 (ST-Ericsson) platforms as well - Some updates to pinctrl and other subsystems. 2013-10-28Merge branch 'cleanup/dt-clock' into next/socOlof Johansson1-8/+0
Merging in dt clock cleanup as a pre-req with some of the later SoC branches. There are a handful of conflicts here -- some of the already merged SoC branches should have been based on the cleanup but weren't. In particular, a remove/add of include on highbank and two remove/remove conflicts on kirkwood were fixed up. * cleanup/dt-clock: (28 commits) ARM: vt8500: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: vexpress: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: tegra: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: sunxi: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: sti: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: socfpga: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: rockchip: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: prima2: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: nspire: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: nomadik: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: mxs: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: kirkwood: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: imx: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: highbank: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: exynos: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: dove: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: bcm2835: remove custom .init_time hook ARM: bcm: provide common arch init for DT clocks ARM: call of_clk_init from default time_init handler ARM: vt8500: prepare for arch-wide .init_time callback ... 2013-10-08ARM: kirkwood: retain MAC address for DT ethernetSebastian Hesselbarth1-2/+83
Ethernet IP on Kirkwood SoCs loose their MAC address register content if clock gated. To allow modular ethernet driver setups and gated clocks also on non-DT capable bootloaders, we fixup port device nodes with no valid MAC address property. This patch copies MAC address register contents set up by bootloaders early, notably before ethernet clocks are gated. While at it, also reorder call sequence in _dt_init. 2013-10-08ARM: kirkwood: Remove unneeded PCIe clock addingEzequiel Garcia1-8/+0
Since the PCIe devices is properly initialized from the DT, the clocks are now referenced in the device tree nodes, and it's not needed to have this hack to add them explicitly. 2013-10-08ARM: kirkwood: Add standby supportEzequiel Garcia6-0/+85
Implements standby support for Kirkwood SoC. When the SoC enters standby state the memory PM units are disabled, the DDR is set in self-refresh mode, and the CPU is set in WFI. At this point there's no clock gating, as that is considered each driver's task. 2013-10-01ARM: kirkwood: Remove kirkwood_setup_wins and rely on the DT bindingJason Gunthorpe1-1/+0
kirkwood_setup_wins is the last manual caller of mbus in kirkwood, don't call it for DT boards and rely on the DT having a mbus node with a proper ranges property to setup these windows. Move all the mbus ranges properties for all boards into kirkwood.dtsi, since they are currently all the same. This makes the DT self consistent, since the physical address of the NAND and CRYPTO are both referenced internally. The arbitary Linux constants KIRKWOOD_NAND_MEM_PHYS_BASE and KIRKWOOD_SRAM_PHYS_BASE no longer have to match the DT values. commit 844703c ARM: kirkwood: Remove all remaining trace of DNS-320/325 platform code removed the last kirkwood DT/platform board in kirkwood_defconfig, this triggered a rescan of the config symbols, the result of which breaks the build because KIRKWOOD_DT does not select OF_IRQ. 2013-05-28ARM: Kirkwood: TS219: Fix crash by double PCIe instantiationAndrew Lunn1-10/+0
When creating the DT based boards-ts219.c the none DT ts219-setup.c was used as a template. This includes a lateinit() call to initialize the PCIe bus. The code makes use of machine_is_ts219() which is never true on DT, so a FIXME was added and the code left as is. This was unproblematic until b73690c8f8b5d: "ARM: Kirkwood: Support basic hotplug for PCI-E" which changes the way the PCIe bus is initialized. The non-DT ts219-setup.c now crashes during boot. The lateinit() call in the DT boards-ts219.c is being called, machine_is_ts219() is true and so the PCIe is initialized a second time. This patch removes the useless, and now clearly dangerous, code from boards-ts219.c, making ts219-setup.c work again. 2013-05-27arm: kirkwood: convert db-88f6281/db-88f6282 to the Device TreeThomas Petazzoni6-115/+44
This commit converts the Marvell DB-88F6281/DB-88F6282 board to the Device Tree. In fact, the code was supporting two different boards: one with the 6281 SoC variant, and one with the 6282 SoC variant. The difference between the two being that the 6281 has one PCIe interface, and the 6282 has two PCIe interfaces. In order to handle that with the Device Tree, we create a 'kirkwood-db.dtsi' file that contains the definitions common to both boards, and 'kirkwood-db-88f6281.dts' and 'kirkwood-db-88f6282.dts' for the definitions specific to each board. This is similar to what is done for the QNAP TS219 Kirkwood platform. We have kept one single Kconfig option, just like it was before.
