2019-09-06ARM: dts: logicpd-som-lv: Fix i2c2 and i2c3 Pin muxAdam Ford1-12/+14
When the pinmux configuration was added, it was accidentally placed into the omap3_pmx_wkup node when it should have been placed into the omap3_pmx_core. This error was accidentally propagated to stable by me when I blindly requested the pull after seeing I2C issues without actually reviewing the content of the pinout. Since the bootloader previously muxed these correctly in the past, was a hidden error. This patch moves the i2c2_pins and i2c3_pins to the correct node which should eliminate i2c bus errors and timeouts due to the fact the bootloader uses the save device tree that no longer properly assigns these pins. 2018-07-02ARM: dts: Improve omap l4per idling with wlcore edge sensitive interruptTony Lindgren1-1/+1
The wl1835mod.pdf data sheet says this pretty clearly for WL_IRQ line: "WLAN SDIO out-of-band interrupt line. Set to rising edge (active high) by default." And it seems this interrupt can be optionally configured to use falling edge too since commit bd763482c82e ("wl18xx: wlan_irq: support platform dependent interrupt types"). On omap4, if the wlcore interrupt is configured as level instead of edge, L4PER will stop doing hardware based idling after ifconfig wlan0 down is done and the WL_EN line is pulled down. The symptoms show up with L4PER status registers no longer showing the IDLEST bits as 2 but as 0 for all the active GPIO banks and for L4PER_CLKCTRL. Also the l4per_pwrdm RET count stops increasing in the /sys/kernel/debug/pm_debug/count. While there is also probably a GPIO related issue that needs to be still fixed, this change gets us to the point where we can have L4PER idling. I'm guessing wlcore was at some point configured to use level interrupts because of edge handling issues in gpio-omap. However, with the recent fixes to gpio-omap the edge interrupts seem to be working just fine. Let's change it for all omap boards with wlcore interrupt set as level. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC device tree updates from Olof Johansson: "As always, a large number of DT updates. Too many to enumerate them all, but at a glance: New SoCs introduced in this release: - Amlogic: + Meson 8M2 SoC, a.k.a. S812. A quad Cortex-A9 SoC used in some set top boxes and other products. - Mediatek: + MT7623A, which is a flavor of the MT7623 family with other on-chip ethernet options. - Qualcomm: + SDM845, a.k.a Snapdragon 845, an 4+4-core Kryo 385/845 (Cortex-A75/A55 derivative) SoC that's one of the current high-end mobile SoCs. So far, you can't do much with it, since a lot of peripherals are not yet in the DTs but driver support for USB, GPU and other pieces are starting to trickle in. This might end up being a well-supported SoC upstream if the momentum keeps up. - Renesas: + R8A77990, a.k.a R-Car E3, a new automotive entertainment-targeted SoC. 2018-05-01ARM: dts: logicpd-som-lv: Fix Audio MuteAdam Ford1-0/+2
The Audio has worked, but the mute pin has a weak pulldown which alows some of the audio signal to pass very quietly. This patch fixes that so the mute pin is actively driven high for mute or low for normal operation. 2018-05-01ARM: dts: logicpd-som-lv: Fix WL127x Startup IssuesAdam Ford1-2/+7
The VAUX3 rail from the PMIC powers a clock driver which clocks the WL127x. This corrects a bug which did not correctly associate the vin-supply with the proper power rail. This also fixes a typo in the pinmuxing to properly configure the interrupt pin. 2018-02-14ARM: dts: LogicPD SOM-LV: Fix I2C1 pinmuxAdam Ford1-1/+8
The pinmuxing was missing for I2C1 which was causing intermittent issues with the PMIC which is connected to I2C1. The bootloader did not quite configure the I2C1 either, so when running at 2.6MHz, it was generating errors at times. This correctly sets the I2C1 pinmuxing so it can operate at 2.6MHz Fixes: ab8dd3aed011 ("ARM: DTS: Add minimal Support for Logic PD DM3730 SOM-LV") Signed-off-by: Adam Ford <aford173@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
