2010-12-10usb: musb: add Kconfig options for each glue layerFelipe Balbi1-2/+2
This will make things simpler when choosing which glue layer to compile. It avoids a lot of magic around the "default" Kconfig option and lets the user choose what exactly s/he wants to compile. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
2010-11-05USB: musb: blackfin: fix musb_read_txhubport() definitionIan Jeffray1-1/+2
The new MUSB power code needs musb_read_txhubport() to return a value (so stub it as 0 like the other Blackfin hub funcs). Signed-off-by: Ian Jeffray <ian@jeffray.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
2010-05-20usb: musb: add ulpi access operationsHeikki Krogerus1-0/+10
This adds helper functions for ULPI access, and implements otg_io_access_ops for musb. Signed-off-by: Heikki Krogerus <ext-heikki.krogerus@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <felipe.balbi@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2010-03-19USB: musb: fix warnings in Blackfin regsMike Frysinger1-0/+9
The recent commit "usb: musb: Add context save and restore support" added some stubs for the Blackfin code so things would compile, but it also added a bunch of warnings due to missing return statements. 2010-03-19usb: musb: abstract out ULPI_BUSCONTROL register reads/writesMike Frysinger1-0/+19
The USB PHY on current Blackfin processors is a UTMI+ level 2 PHY. However, it has no ULPI support - so there are no registers at all. That means accesses to ULPI_BUSCONTROL have to be abstracted away like other MUSB registers. This fixes building for Blackfin parts again. 2010-03-02USB: musb: set version of Blackfin versionCliff Cai1-1/+5
All current Blackfin parts are using RTL v1.9, but they don't expose the hardware registers to probe this dynamically. So hardcode the version to v1.9 for now. Need to move the local hwvers related defines higher up in the header so that sub-musb headers may utilize them. 2010-03-02usb: musb: Add context save and restore supportAjay Kumar Gupta1-0/+90
Adding support for MUSB register save and restore during system suspend and resume. Changes: - Added musb_save/restore_context() functions - Added platform specific musb_platform_save/restore_context() to handle platform specific jobs. - Maintaining BlackFin compatibility by adding read/write functions for registers which are not available in BlackFin Tested system suspend and resume on OMAP3EVM board. 2010-03-02usb: musb: Add 'extvbus' in musb_hdrc_platform_dataAjay Kumar Gupta1-0/+5
Some of the board might use external Vbus power supply on musb interface which would require to program ULPI_BUSCONTROL register. Adding 'extvbus' flag which can be set from such boards which will be checked at musb driver files before programming ULPI_BUSCONTROL. 2009-12-11USB: musb: kill compile warning for Blackfin systemsBryan Wu1-2/+2
The Blackfin version of musb_read_target_reg_base() returns a u16 when the common code expects a (void __iomem *), so update the Blackfin function to return the right value. This fixes the compile warning: drivers/usb/musb/musb_core.c: In function 'musb_core_init': drivers/usb/musb/musb_core.c:1448: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast Signed-off-by: Bryan Wu <cooloney@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Anand Gadiyar <gadiyar@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2009-10-09USB: musb: make HAVE_CLK support optionalMike Frysinger1-9/+0
The Blackfin port doesn't support HAVE_CLK and the musb driver works fine with support stubbed out, so take the existing Blackfin clk stubs and move them to common musb code so we can drop the Kconfig dependency. 2009-07-28USB: musb: fix CONFIGDATA register read issueAjay Kumar Gupta1-0/+1
INDEX register has to be set to '0' before reading CONFIGDATA register which is only present in TI musb platforms. Currently the default register access mode is set to FLAT_MODE thus INDEX register is not getting set properly with musb_ep_select() which is just a nop operation in FLAT_MODE.This invalid register read is causing module reinset failure. Fixing the issue by moving INDEX register write part to musb_read_configdata() function itself. 2009-01-07USB: musb: add Blackfin specific configuration to MUSBBryan Wu1-92/+305
Some config registers are not avaiable in Blackfin, we have to comment them out. v1-v2: - remove Blackfin specific header file - add Blackfin register version to musb_regs.h header file Signed-off-by: Bryan Wu <cooloney@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <felipe.balbi@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
