2011-12-21driver-core: remove sysdev.h usage.Kay Sievers1-1/+1
The sysdev.h file should not be needed by any in-kernel code, so remove the .h file from these random files that seem to still want to include it. The sysdev code will be going away soon, so this include needs to be removed no matter what. 2011-09-15ARM: SAMSUNG: fix watchdog reset issue with clk_get()Marek Szyprowski1-0/+11
clkdev framework uses global mutex to protect clock tree, so it is not possible to call clk_get() in interrupt context. This patch fixes this issue and makes system reset by watchdog call working again. 2011-07-20ARM: SAMSUNG: Add clkdev infrastructureThomas Abraham1-82/+6
The struct clk definition for Samsung platforms is extended to include a instance of struct clk_lookup and a device name. When clocks are registered using s3c24xx_register_clock function, the dev_id, con_id and clk members are initialized with information from the struct clk instance and struct clk_lookup member is registered. 2011-01-12ARM: SAMSUNG: Add support for clock debugging through debug-fs interfaceAmit Daniel Kachhap1-0/+92
This patch adds support for clock information exposed to debug-fs interface. Signed-off-by: Amit Daniel Kachhap <amit.daniel@samsung.com> [kgene.kim@samsung.com: removed useless empty lines] Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2010-10-08ARM: SAMSUNG: Add a workaround for get_clock() for serial driverMarek Szyprowski1-1/+26
Serial drivers call get_clock() very early, before platform bus has been set up, this requires a special check to let them get a proper clock. Without this patch, a serial console is broken on S5PV310 and S5PC210 boards. 2010-05-10ARM: SAMSUNG: Add s3c_disable_clocks() and tidy init+disable usageBen Dooks1-0/+15
Add s3c_disable_clocks() and change the clock registration code to use the s3c_register_clocks() followed by s3c_disable_clocks() instead of the loops it was using. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2010-01-26ARM: SAMSUNG: Add error printing to s3c24xx_register_clocksBen Dooks1-1/+5
Add an error print to s3c24xx_register_clocks to provide more useful information when failing to register the clock. I belive this was originally left out due to the possibility of a problem with low-level debugging code. However, if the low-level debug code is not functional by now there will be a whole other set of problems being presented to the system. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2010-01-26ARM: SAMSUNG: Add documentation to the clock registration calls.Ben Dooks1-0/+14

2010-01-15ARM: SAMSUNG: Make clk_default_setrate and clk_ops_def_setrate visibleKukjin Kim1-2/+2

2010-01-15ARM: SAMSUNG: Add call to register array of clocksBen Dooks1-0/+22
Add s3c_register_clocks() to register an array of clocks, printing an error message if there is a problem. Replace all points in the code where this could be used. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2010-01-15ARM: SAMSUNG: Move clock.c to arch/arm/plat-samsungBen Dooks1-0/+369
This is the core implementation of the clock code for all Samsung based SoCs, so move it to arch/arm/plat-samsung (the clock.h file has already been moved). Since the file is built for every Samsung SoC, no changes are needed to the Kconfig system. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
