This fixes a "start_kernel(): bug: interrupts were enabled early".
rtc_cmos now takes care of initializing the ISA RTC and reading the
current time and date from it; there's no need to repeat that here,
thereby causing interrupts to be enabled too early.

... but the rtc-cmos is rather broken; if PNP is enabled, it assumes
that we have ACPI (!) which is quite bogus on these platforms -
which may have ISAPNP but not ACPI. Something to be solved in the
future.

Rather than hard-coding the platform device IDs, enumerate them.
We don't particularly care about the actual ID we get, just as
long as they're unique.

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.
Let it rip!
