## Secret Storage

The Secrets API allows client applications to store secrets securely using a service running in the user's login session. 


### Drafting Process

This API is currently being drafted in cooperation by the [[GNOME Keyring|https://wiki.gnome.org/action/show/Projects/GnomeKeyring]] and the [[KDE Wallet|http://utils.kde.org/projects/kwalletmanager]] developers.
