So far none successed in proper integration of [[V4L2|http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page]] (Video-for-Linux, v2, used in Linux kernel at least) and DRI  (now DRI2/KMS-enabled)  drivers. One attempt seems to be started by Dave Airlie: [[Radeon-AiW|http://people.freedesktop.org/~airlied/aiw/]].
