Where do the name come from?

tl;dr, I butchered the pronounciation.

This is a library to deal with XMP. Pronounce it ex em pee. So it
would have been named Exempee. But then I'm French and I wrote it 
Exempi is "pi" is pronounced like "pee".

Simple as that.
